MANN PACKING POURS ON THE FLAVOR WITH STAR OLIVE OIL

Mann Packing is pouring on the flavor in a new promotion with Star Olive Oil that is perfect for spring cooking.

Beginning April 1, shoppers can save $1 on purchases of Star Olive Oil when they purchase packages of Mann's Broccolini® or Simply Singles™ whole leaf lettuce leaves.

The offer, inserted into 60,000 packages of Broccolini® (packaged in 6-ounce trays) and three versions of Simply Single™ packages, will be available nationwide.

"Olive oil is healthier than butter and that makes a nice compliment to fresh vegetables," said Lorri Koster, vice president of marketing. "Now more than ever consumers are looking for value especially in high-end cooking ingredients such as olive oil."

The promotion also includes a recipe book with three simple but elegant recipes featuring Mann products that are perfect for spring entertaining including a Caesar (salad) cocktail, Balsamic Broccolini® and Mann's Broccolini® and Sugar Snap Pea Caprese Salad.

This is the first time Mann has partnered with Star Olive Oil on a cross-promotion; a second promotion is planned for June.

"This offer is a good fit for our target shoppers because it is designed to increase usage of two perfectly paired items," Koster said.
